VP Sales & Marketing, Asia Pacific
Based: Flexible within the APAC region
Reporting to
: Global Sales and Marketing Director
Remuneration: Substantial 6-figure salary, depending on experience

Role Description:

Focusrite is seeking a candidate to fill the role of VP Sales & Marketing, Asia Pacific. The selected candidate will be directly responsible for the representation of the brands and their financial performance across the whole of the APAC.


  • Manage and be responsible for the Focusrite Novation Asia Ltd P&L
  • Develop and implement the APAC Sales & Marketing Strategy for the Focusrite & Novation brands
  • Develop annual sales budgets with revenue and contribution for the product lines with the Sales & Marketing Director
  • Deliver the planned revenue and contribution
  • Manage the APAC MI Sales & Marketing Team
  • Ensure that the right distribution partners are in place for all countries throughout APAC
  • Manage all Distribution partners in APAC in line with their contractual obligations to enable the smooth and predictable flow of business
  • Formulate and deliver agreed business development initiatives
  • Ensure continuous availability of all products in each country via all relevant physical and online channels
  • Run regular reforecasts based on up to date pipeline information
  • Work with the Product Management team to ensure full local knowledge of the range, both current and future
  • Work with the Global Marketing Team to ensure an effective marketing strategy is realised
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Channel Marketing strategy
  • Assist in the full localization of all brand and product marketing
  • Work with the Operations team to ensure that the right mix of products is available in the right locations at all times

Skills and Experience:

  • Sales and Marketing professional with 10+ years’ experience in selling to the APAC market
  • Established relationships with major distributors and channel partners throughout APAC
  • Widely recognized and trusted Relationship Manager
  • Proven track record of sales performance in the M.I. and Professional Audio segments
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
  • Exceptional account management skills
  • Ability to resolve problems and overcome objections quickly and efficiently
  • Strong technical background
  • Comfortable with regular international travel
